5- A- Side Charity Football Quiz – The Biggest Event in Leeds Since Le Grand Depart?!!
A couple of years ago we ran a 5 a side football quiz for The Stephen Switalski Trust it was a roaring success. So we have decided to run another quiz this autumn to raise much needed funds for two charities Kids & Simon on the Streets. We’re delighted to confirm that the quiz master will again be Richard Clews who set and ran a fantastic quiz last time.
It will take place in Trinity Arts, the wonderful venue adjacent to Trinity, in Leeds city centre on Thursday 18 September with a prompt kick off at 6pm and full time due for 7.45pm. There will be a bar with cool reasonably priced drinks as well as the opportunity to network and/or gloat over your superior football knowledge or simply marvel at the useless trivia that some people manage to recall.
Everyone is welcome, we simply want it to be a fun evening and to raise as much cash as possible for our two charities.
To enter is simple, assemble a team of 5 players ( colleagues, family, customers, suppliers, clients, footballers, football journalists or armchair pundits) there is a minimum £10 entry fee per player. Just send an e-mail to tim@asktim.org to register your team. We want all the money to go directly to the charities so will simply alternate the team donations between each charity (if you want to double up and give £10 per player to each charity that would be awesome!). STOP PRESS 13/09 – enter as an individual, or with a friend and we’ll form some teams on the evening, just e-mail as above and arrive by 17.45.
Shin pads are optional but the competition will be fierce – who will be the 2014 champions?

Sadly there won’t be a parallel cultural festival but if you want to spray the armchair (you normally watch football from) yellow and place it at a junction near you then please feel free.
We look forward to seeing you on the 18th – please share this with your colleagues and friends.
